In this article, you will learn how to schedule an audit for a template that already exists in the system.
To start, click on the "Audits" option in the main menu on the left-hand side. From the sub-menu that shows up, click on the "Schedule" option.
Initially, you'll see an empty page with an option to schedule a new audit in the top right corner. In our example below we have a few audits already scheduled.
To schedule a new audit, just click on the “Schedule Audit” button in the top right corner of the screen, highlighted in the screenshot below.
As you can see in the screenshot above, a new form appears on the right-hand side with a couple of options to define.
Template - Select one of the templates you have chosen to add to your account during onboarding or one that you’ve built. For more information on how to create your own template, visit this article.
Custom Audit Name - If you plan to schedule multiple audits over time, then it's probably a good idea to give your audit an easily recognizable name. E.g. “Monthly Quality Audit” This is an optional field, but certainly recommended.
Audit Objects and Groups - Select an audit object for which the audit will be performed. In case you haven’t added an audit object yet, navigate to the Settings->Audit objects area first to add one.
Auditor - Assign this audit to an auditor, a group of auditors, or leave it unassigned so any auditor can start it.
Tags - In case you have defined some tags in the settings area, then you can tag your audit here as well. This is an optional field, so you can skip it if you don’t have any tags created.
Frequency - One time - You can schedule an audit as a one-time occurrence or a recurring audit. Recurring audits can have a start date or can repeat indefinitely.
- Daily - You can schedule it to repeat daily (every day, every 2nd day, every 3rd day, etc)
- Weekly - You can schedule it to repeat weekly (every week, every 2nd week, every 3rd week, etc)
- Monthly - You can schedule it to repeat monthly (every month, every 2nd month, every 3rd month, etc)
In our example screenshot below, we have set our audit to repeat weekly, and we want it to be run every two weeks starting from January 1st. We don't want to end it, so the option to never end is enabled.
When done configuring, hit the "Schedule" button and that's it. For more information, reach out to our support team at support@monitorqa.com
