With True Offline Mode, your field teams can now complete audits without any internet connection—from start to finish. Whether you're in a remote facility, underground site, or simply in an area with poor connectivity, monitorQA ensures you never lose progress.
Previously, users could begin an audit offline but needed a connection to complete or sync it. Now, with True Offline Mode:
- Users can start, edit, and complete an audit entirely offline.
- The mobile app saves all changes locally.
- Once internet connection is restored, all data automatically syncs to the server.
1. Start an Audit in the Mobile App
- While online, users can download templates and begin audits as usual.
- If the connection drops, the audit continues uninterrupted.
2. Visual Offline Indicator
- A message will appear at the top of the audit: “You are currently offline: All your changes to the audit will be saved locally and synced to the server once the connection is restored.”
3. Complete the Audit
- Users can fully complete the audit offline—including adding photos, notes, scores, and corrective actions.
4. Automatic Sync
- Once the device reconnects to the internet, the audit data will sync automatically.
- All synced data becomes available to other users and devices instantly.
